Arsenal 2008 - 2009 Season Review

We are here again at the end of the season 2008 - 2009. Arsenal Football Club, yet again trophy less. What really the problem is, still seem to be a matter of debate amongst all gunners' fans.

Arsenal Football Club is a massive club without question and I have personally enjoyed every moment I have spent watching the beautiful game played by the Arsenal to which even Sepp Blater agree, Arsenal among the best when it comes to attractive football.

Arsenal goal keeping doesn't require urgent attention, Manuel Almunia does look stable, while Fabianski not so bad considering his age. Arsenal Doesn't need to buy Goalkeepers for next season unless we got surplus money.

The defense gives me a lot to worry about every time we face a stronger opposition. Arsenal's defense can't seem to be able to clear the ball to safety if when playing against weaker opponents such as Wigan, guess you all can remember Mido's goal earlier this year. We need a strong, calm, aggressive and ever present defender around which whom our current lads preferably Kolo Toure or Gallas would partner. The Djouro wait on around. Clichy and Sagna in their respective positions no problem.

The Midfield needs the following 4 guys: Nasri---Buy---Fabrigas---Rosisky. Theo Walcott is good but Rosisky is needed for stability both defensively and attaching while Nasri has shown is a good performer this season. fabrigas is dearly needed for those clear through balls and being Captain. The Buy has to be one aggressive and strong enough to give in strong tackles week in week out such as Kolo's young brother. Song though better, Danilson, Diaby can't do the job there unfortunately.

Arsenal then needs Asharvin or Van persie supporting a strong and deadly at least closer to Torres, not Adebayor please. I really hope current gossip does materialize and he goes. Eduardo when fit is as good and I feel he is able to do it.

Vela, Simpson, Bendtner, Traore, Gibbs, Eboue, Ramsey, Wilshere and the other youngsters should be allowed to learn with less pressure on their shoulders, brought in only when playing weaker opponents.

Please leave your comments and don't forget to let me know of any gossips about the club we all love. Am a blogger from Africa, specifically Zambia in Lusaka. Best wishes next season as we lift the Premier league Trophy.
